Company Introduction

Founded in 2011, INNONET Inc. is a South Korean wireless communications company specializing in TV White Space (TVWS) networks for areas where existing mobile, fiber optic, Wi-Fi, and GPS services are unavailable or unstable. Our patented platform utilizes unused UHF television frequency bands (470–698 MHz) to provide long-range, non-line-of-sight connectivity, integrating low-orbit satellite or LTE backhaul with Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa, IP video, sensors, public broadcasting systems, and wireless communications.

INNONET offers fixed, mobile, backpack, and underground TVWS gateways, along with AI-based network and safety management software. These solutions support emergency communications, disaster response, rural connectivity, underground construction safety, wildfire monitoring, maritime operations, remote education, and telemedicine.

Our technology has been deployed in various locations both domestically and internationally, including underground tunnel projects in Saudi Arabia, public sector and disaster response projects in South Korea, and connectivity projects in Africa and Latin America. INNONET products hold KC, FCC, CE, and ICASA certifications and have been designated as innovative procurement products by the Korean government. INNONET won the Connectivity Innovation Award at the 2025 South Africa G20 Challenge and received the Presidential Commendation (1), the Prime Minister's Commendation (2), and the Minister's Commendation (5).

In June of this year, we contributed Korean TVWS regulatory sandbox technology to the ITU-R. The INNONET TVWS Platform provides various disaster emergency communication services combined with low-orbit satellites, AI, quadruped robots, and humanoids, and offers diverse private communication network platform services for smart villages, public safety, smart construction, and smart mining. We provide integrated services to UN agencies and public sector partners, including field surveys, wireless network design, equipment supply, installation, training, remote monitoring, and maintenance.

Product Decription

Low Earth Orbit Satellite Backhaul TVWS Emergency Communications and Smart Safety Networks

This is a resilient communications platform suitable for disaster response, public safety, rural connectivity, and underground operations. This solution combines Low Earth Orbit satellite or LTE backhaul with INNONET's Long Range TV White Space (TVWS) network and integrated operations platform.

1. Backpack-type TVWS Base Station Platform

This is a rapidly deployable field node that establishes a local broadband network when ground infrastructure is unavailable, congested, or damaged. It connects Low Earth Orbit satellite or LTE backhaul to TVWS to provide Ethernet and Wi-Fi access to command centers, response personnel, and nearby communities. Common use cases include disaster sites, wildfire response, temporary camps, remote schools, villages, and humanitarian operations.

2. TVWS Edge Platform for Underground and Disaster Sites

This gateway establishes a self-managed line-of-sight network in tunnels, mines, basements, mountainous areas, and other radio-blocked regions. The Ethernet and serial interfaces of this system connect IP cameras, environmental and gas sensors, worker location tracking devices, IP speakers, hands-free intercoms, RoIP gateways, robots, and drones. Fixed, mobile, vehicle-mounted, and portable configurations are available depending on site requirements.

3. AI Smart Safety and Integrated Operations

The network management and AI safety platform display device status, video, sensor data, location information, and event logs on a single screen. It supports real-time alerts, emergency broadcasts, two-way voice communication, and remote control. Local services remain available via the TVWS network even in the event of temporary backhaul failures, while the control center maintains connectivity via low-orbit satellites or the public internet.

Key Benefits

Long-range and beyond-line-of-sight communication, rapid installation and migration, reduced cable costs, resilient multi-backhaul operations, interoperability with existing IP devices and wireless systems, centralized monitoring, and deployments scalable from a single site to nationwide public sector programs.

Service Scope

Wireless survey and network design, equipment supply, installation and commissioning, system integration, administrator and user training, remote monitoring, maintenance, and technical support from local partners.
