REMEX-KA6 is an ultra-lightweight portable X-ray system developed using REMEDI's proprietary ultra-compact X-ray tube, high-voltage power supply (HVPS), and imaging control technologies. Designed for Point-of-Care (POC) applications, it enables fast and reliable diagnostic imaging wherever patients are located, overcoming the limitations of conventional stationary X-ray systems.
Weighing only 2.4 kg, the REMEX-KA6 delivers outstanding portability while providing up to 420 W output, a 40–70 kV tube voltage range, 0.12–12 mAs exposure control, and a 0.4 mm focal spot for high-quality diagnostic imaging. A fully charged battery supports approximately 270–290 exposures, enabling reliable operation even in areas with limited power infrastructure.
Its low-dose, high-quality imaging technology minimizes radiation exposure for both patients and healthcare professionals while maintaining excellent diagnostic performance. The system is designed for use in hospitals, intensive care units (ICUs), operating rooms, emergency medical services, ambulances, military medical facilities, disaster response, mobile healthcare, infectious disease control, and tuberculosis (TB) screening programs. Its compact design also enables operation in environments where dedicated radiation-shielded rooms are not readily available.
The REMEX-Xcam6 is a portable X-ray system optimized for chest imaging. With enhanced output and superior image quality, it supports the diagnosis and screening of pulmonary diseases such as tuberculosis (TB), pneumonia, and lung cancer. It can also be integrated with digital detectors, AI-based computer-aided detection (CAD), and teleradiology platforms to provide a comprehensive diagnostic solution for large-scale public health screening and healthcare services in underserved regions.
REMEDI's portable X-ray solutions have obtained major international certifications, including FDA and CE, and have been exported to more than 58 countries.
